Towako Ikegami, a fourth-year student at UTokyoGSC-Next, presented her research findings at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2024, an international research competition for high school students held in the United States, and won 4th place in the Microbiology category. She has also been awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Commendation for this achievement
