This year, we've started offering a lecture in English for students in the second stage of their research planning course, focusing on researching existing studies and constructing hypotheses. At the University of Tokyo, all first-year science students take an academic writing course called "ALESS." This time, Professor Maninan gave a lecture based on the ALESS course. Although the lecture was entirely in English, the students actively participated and it was a very valuable learning experience
